Most of my adult life I have worked as a creator and content provider in the visual media industry.
I have written, directed and produced dozens of films, documentary series, commercials, election campaigns, and feature films. Yet, throughout my career I have always continued to paint.
I am frequently asked when I began painting. The truth is that I have been painting for close to 50 years, ever since I was 8 years old. Growing up in Jerusalem, I had the privilege of attending drawing sessions with one of Israel’s art masters - Avraham Ofek, who taught me to never be afraid of a mix of colors and textures.
I studied at two different prominent schools of art, one in Jerusalem (Bezalel 1982) and one in New York (SVA 1983 - 1985). In 1988, I was invited to present a retrospective summarizing a decade of my paintings at 'Bograshov Gallery' in Tel Aviv.
Most of my paintings represent personal biographical situations and events among family members, friends and other people in my immediate surrounding, that impact my way of life.
